The Ombudsperson interviews the President of the Neighborhood Federation

The Ombudsperson, Anna Moilanen, had the opportunity to interview the President of the Neighborhood Federation, Maribel Alcázar. During the meeting, they had the chance to share their common concern regarding the issue of justifying subsidies from the Palma City Council, a matter that significantly affects associations and the Federation itself.

The Ombudsperson offered her assistance to the associations to support them in a possible claims process. The President expressed her particular concern about the repeated lack of responses to various inquiries addressed to the Department of Citizen Participation.

Finally, the Ombudsperson shared with Mrs. Alcázar the Project of the Ombudsperson's Office, focused on the 2024 concept of COMMITMENT to the community. This document will be officially presented at the next Committee for Complaints and Suggestions on November 24th.
