Ageism in public administration: a legal approach

Today, November 9th, the Defender attended the presentation of the 16th edition of the Aging Yearbook published by the UIB at the College of Physicians of the Balearic Islands. This year, the yearbook consists of 21 articles, among which is the one from the Office of the Citizen's Defender on the exclusion of elderly individuals from Public Administration.

The presentation was attended by members of the Government of the Balearic Islands in the field of Social Welfare, representatives of Caixa de Colonya, which sponsors the task, and the management team of the UIB, led by Dr. Carme Orte.

The main conference was conducted by the actress Petra Martínez and the director and screenwriter David Martín de los Santos, both selected for their cinematographic initiative "La vida era eso," nominated for the Goya Awards.
